Without you, the Midwest Bridal Expo could not have been the great success it was. Thank you for giving of your time over the two days to present a range and quality of products to make Geraldton proud! Everything a bridal couple could need to plan a wedding was available and it was wonderful to see samples and be able to speak directly to providers and ask questions.

If you are coming down please allow enough time to talk to the bayholders and really get the wedding of your dreams. Morning and afternoon teas and lunches are also avalaible to help make the day enjoyable.

Huge Weekend – What a Success!

The 2010 Bridal Expo was such a huge success and we are now gearing up for the 2011 event

Mark out 21st & 22nd May 2011 in you calender.
Saturday 21st May 2011 – 1pm to 5pm
Sunday 22nd May 2011 – 10am -5pm
Venue – Queen Elizabeth Centre – QE11 Centre Durlacher Street Geraldton
Cost $10 per person per day. Gold coin donation for persons 12 years and under.

Remember all monies raised go to the RFDS – Royal Flying Doctor Service. The RFDS is a FREE service to the public. They fly sick and injured to specialist and medical care. They also provide support to persons living, working and travelling in remote areas of Australia. PLEASE help us to keep this service available for you and your family.

There will be a SILENT AUCTION over the 2 days. Anyone wishing to donate an article for this will be welcomed.

You are such a tremendous support to the RFDS – Royal Flying Doctor Service – without you we would find this taks very daunting.

Kevin you need to come to the Expo to sample our Date and Walnut loaf (however we will make you one for yourself as you have supported us for so long along with your fellow Rotarians Di your vanilla slice will be there too.

RFDS Fundraising

The RFDS is in need of your support. It is a vital life saving medical service which is there for all persons in Australia. We desperately need to raise funds to keep this service operational. Please come to our expo and keep the fundraising going.

21st & 22nd May Queen Elizabeth Centre
Saturday 21st May 1pm to 5pm
Sunday 22nd May 10am – 5pm
Admission $10 Gold coin donation for persons under the age of 12 years.

Also when we are selling raffle tickets please support us as $1 can save your life.

Have you or your family or friends ever needed to use the RFDS yes that it the Royal Flying Doctor Service.
Some of our patients have been:
Premature birth, complicated pregnancy, motor vehicle accidents, work accidents, swimming injuries, broken bones, heart problems, cancer, renal, liver, lung and the list goes on. We are ther for you please help us by being there for us.

Welcome to our blog. Stay tuned for news and information about the Midwest Bridal Expo this year!

The Midwest Bridal Expo is a fundraising event to raise much needed funds for the RFDS It is a place where couples can go to organise, and get ideas for their wedding.

There are loads of fashion parades and mega displays, flowers, photography, make-up, catering, jewellery, possible a horse and carriage and heaps more.

You can organise your whole wedding on the one day – it has been done before and commented on how easy it was.

The Expo is held every year, and is held at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre in Durlacher Stret Geraldton.

The next Expo will be held on the weekend of 21st and 22nd May 2011.
