Bride & Groom of the Year Bride & Groom of the Year 2009 Karen Bertelsen married Mario Scarpuzza on the 3rd January 2009 at Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral Geraldton by Bishop Justin Bianchini. Karen was attended by the Chief Bridesmaid Julie Cream and Bridesmaid Josie Hawley. Mario was attended by Bestman Patrick Franco and Groomsman Kent Stanton. Junior Bridesmaids were Teneeka Cream and Olivia Scarpuzza and pageboy was Kodie Cream. The reception was held at the Casa Blanca Function Centre and the photographers were Sue & Athol McGoldrick. Karen and Mario honeymooned in Thailand and have made their home in Geraldton Bride of the Year Rachael Blakeney married Gareth Donald on the 22nd February 2009 at Brookleigh Estate by Graham Lambert. Rachael was attended by Alicia Semerdjian and Angela Adams. Gareth was attended by Andrew Thompson and Mitchell Donald. The flowergirl was Bella Camso and the pageboy was Kyle Clohessy. The reception was held at the Marmion Angling Club and the photographer was Bonnie at Exclusive Publishing and Photographics. Rachael and Gareth honeymooned in Kalbarri and have made their home in Geraldton
